Dr. Lisa Thomas Working On Healthcare Issues For Camden County Residents

Camden County State Representative Dr. Lisa Thomas says educating constituents on healthcare issues and options remains one of her top priorities, and she expects to hold a meeting soon for those on – or soon to be on Medicare.

She says she learned when she held a general healthcare forum earlier this year that many people wanted a meeting focused on Medicare…

“Most likely in January. I’ll be organizing that for people. And we’re going to try a little different strategy so we get the information out to people. I want to ask the senior centers and churches in the area or in the county if they’d be interested to be remote sites so that people will have access if they want to come in. We’ll have a central location so it can come in live. But people will be able to also go to local areas. You said senior centers and churches to access and also even at their desk or at their home via the Internet. And that will be on Medicare.”

Thomas has not scheduled the event yet but says she expects it will happen early in the new year.
