Eldon Man Killed In One Car Crash In Miller County

An Eldon man is dead after a one-car crash early Sunday morning along Vaughan just east of Old Tuscumbia Road in Miller County.

The highway patrol says the car driven by 50-year-old Jerry Wood crossed over the center.

Wood overcorrected sending the car back across and off the road where it struck a fence and overturned.

Wood was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
