Lebanon Schools Work To Offer Program For Reduced Lunch Costs

A change in the school lunch program for the Lebanon R3 school district.

Communications Director for the District: Jacy Overstreet encourages parents to apply for free or reduced lunches, because it may be easier to be accepted than you know.

In Lebanon, lunches for pre-k through 8th grade are two dollars and fifty cents, high school lunches are two dollars and sixty cents.

The reduced price for both is just forty cents.

That will Reduced lunches will save families over $350 per child in a school year.

There is no deadline but, parents are encouraged to put those applications in before the start of the school year.

Application can be found on the district’s website, under the food services tab.
