The 32 year old Camdenton man accused of causing a fatal accident on the Niangua Bridge last Friday appeared at a bond hearing.

After Miles D. Aldrich was initially held on no bond, yesterday Camden County Judge Michael Gilley set bond for Aldrich at 100-thousand dollars.

Aldrich is charged with DWI resulting in death and two counts of DWI resulting in serious injuries.

The Highway Patrol report says Aldrich struck the back of a motorcycle driven by 54 year old Drew Fairchild of Camdenton and a second vehicle that collided with Fairchild’s bike.

Fairchild died at the scene and the two people in the third vehicle, Craig and Donna Hunt, were seriously injured and remain at University Hospital.

Aldrich received minor injuries.

Meanwhile efforts continue at last check to locate the Hunt’s dog, Zeke.

Social media posts say the yellow Labrador mix ran from the accident scene and the couple are hoping to be reunited with their pet.
