Recreational Pot Use Now Open For 21 And Older

With Thursday’s arrival, Recreational marijuana use for those 21 and up has taken effect in Missouri but it will be sometime next year before dispensaries can sell it to those without a medical cannabis card.

The Department of Health and Senior Services must issue existing dispensaries a comprehensive license and it is just starting to accept applications.

As of now though Missouri adults aged 21 and over are allowed to legally possess up to 3 ounces of marijuana.

As for personal cultivation, The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services will begin accepting applications for those cards in February.
