Man Killed In Kayaking Incident At Current River In Shannon County

A kayak accident late Friday afternoon on the Current River at Martin Hole east of Eminence in Shannon County claims the life of a 48-year-old man from Birch Tree.

The marine division of the highway patrol says Jason Bollinger was heading downstream when he fell into the water and failed to resurface.

Bollinger was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
