Missourians are being reminded by the State Department of Conservation that there’s a rule against feeding deer.
And the department is emphasizing the rule because of Chronic Wasting Disease which continues to affect deer across much of the state.
In a news release sent to KRMS officials say “grain, salt products, minerals, and other consumable products used to attract deer are prohibited year-round within CWD Management Zone counties.”
Camden County is one of those zones.
