Moreau Fire District Releases Latest Numbers – Announces Loss Of Firefighter

Year end numbers show that the Moreau Fire District was busy over the course of 2022.

That’s according to Assistant Chief Mike McNeill who says there was a total of 861 calls…596 EMS and 265 fire-related.

The district is served by about 45 volunteers and covers about 250 square miles over parts of Miller, Morgan and Moniteau counties.

The District is also mourning the loss of one of their own.

Firefighter Ken Mast passed away on Monday after a battle with cancer.
