RAAM Cyclists Hit The Road In 3,000 + Mile Bike Event

And they’re off…

…a 3,000-plus mile bicycle race, called Race Across America, kicked off Tuesday with the route heading through the lake area.

“They’re expected to make their way through the town between June 16th through the 21st, and the Camdenton Area Chamber is pleased to continue to man the official time station (#32) at the signal gas station in Camdenton.”

Camdenton Chamber Director KC Cloke says all of the racers will have escorts slowly moving along with them.

Motorists in the lake area are urged to take it easy and be careful when coming up on any of the racers…they can be passing through along Highway-54 anytime of the day or night
