It was a double header in baseball’s late championship series on Monday.

The Texas Rangers beat the Houston Astros in game 7 of the ALCS 11 -4.

Big day for a couple of former Cardinals, Adoles Carcia, homers twice.

He was 4 -5 with 5 runs driven in.

Then the former Cardinal Jordan Montgomery dealt mid -season to Texas.

Comes in for relief of Max Scherzer to pick up the win.

The Rangers advance to the World Series.

Bruce Boci has never lost a decisive game.

Dusty Baker may have managed his final game as the Astros manager.

In the NLCS, the Diamondbacks force a game 7.

They beat the Phillies 5 -1.

Lordy Scarcia homers in the win for Arizona.

As does another former Cardinal in Tommy Fam game 7 tonight.

The Blues will be on the road in Winnipeg to take on the Jets. Every NHL team by the way, playing tonight doesn’t happen all that often.

And finally the former Missouri Tiger, Des Mois Hodge has made the opening day roster for the LA Lakers.
