Wallet Of Man Found Dead In Tuscumbia Found In St. Louis

Investigators say it’s simply an odd coincidence that the wallet of an Osage Beach man whose body was found on Wednesday had been previously found in St. Louis.

58 year old Ralph Toby Pannier’s body was found in the Saline Valley Conservation area near Tuscumbia and so far the Miller County Sheriff’s Office says it showed no signs of foul play.

However a social media post by a woman in St. Louis who was apparently unaware of Pannier’s death says she  found his wallet and wanted to get it back to him.

Miller County detectives say they are aware of the post and do not believe it relates to the death investigation.

Reports are Pannier was visiting family in the city for Thanksgiving and lost his wallet then.

There’s still no word on what caused the man’s death.
