6-Year-Old Child Drowns In Taney County Creek

A 6-year-old child from Taney County is dead after falling into the water and drowning.

According to the Highway Patrol’s water division, the Hartville child fell into the water during a swimming trip on February 19^th and had been missing since then.

He was found by a boat operator in Beaver Creek on March 12^th.

Officials with the Sheriff’s office are currently investigating but no further details have been released at this time.
