As the 2022 deer hunting season continues, state officials say the state has “harvested” 13-point-3 million dollars in revenue from it and counting.
The season ends in mid-January, but as of Friday the Missouri Conservation Department says over 810-thousand deer hunting permits have been sold.
That’s according to The Center Square which says it obtained the data through an open records request.
Hunters can still obtain permits for specific types of seasons through January 15th.
