Four Year Old Killed In UTV Accident Outside The Lake Region

A 4-year-old Sedalia boy is dead and three other youngsters injured in a U-T-V accident in Pettis County.

The highway patrol says it happened late Sunday afternoon in the 25-thousand block of Liberty School Road when the driver of the vehicle, 34-year-old April Headley of Sedalia, was traveling through a yard and made a sharp turn causing the U-T-V to overturn and partially eject the 4-year-old who was wearing a safety device.

Three others…ages 3, 6 and 7…were not wearing safety devices but escaped with minor injuries.

They were taken to a local hospital.
