Ivy Bend Home Damaged by Fire

An Ivy Bend house is damaged by fire.

That’s according to Ivy Bend Fire and Rescue which reports that personnel were called Saturday night to the single-story structure at the cross roads of Jeff’s Way and Ivy Bend Road. Mutual aid was provided at the scene by the Stover Rural Fire Department and the Gravois Fire District while Versailles Rural staged nearby just in case they were needed.

Most of the fire damage was, reportedly, contained to the attic with the house sustaining water and smoke damage as well.

There were no injuries reported and personnel were on the scene for about three hours.
