Multijurisdictional Cooperation Leads To 2 Arrests & Numerous Drugs Off The Streets

Deputies from Camden County team up this week with troopers from the highway patrol and officers from the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group to conduct multiple narcotics investigations.

On Wednesday, a traffic stop was initiated on an alleged  suspected drug trafficker in the Greenview area.

30-year-old Adrienne Edington, who the deputies were familiar with, initially provided false information about her identity.

Seized at the stop were fentanyl, meth, and paraphernalia.

Edington also had been wanted on several outstanding warrants.

On Thursday, 31-year-old Brittany Showmaker was taken into custody from a residence with meth and paraphernalia seized at the scene.

Shoemaker had also been wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Shoemaker and Edington were both taken to the Camden County Jail where they were being held without bond.
