Quarterly EMA Meeting Completed For Region F

Emergency management officials from around the region, including the lake area, were in Boonville on Wednesday for the Region-F fourth quarter meeting.

That’s according to Camden County Emergency Management Agency Director Samantha Henley who says the meeting allows EMD’s from the 13-county region to get with representatives from SEMA, the department of natural resources and the National Weather Service to brainstorm on the upcoming new year.

Various stakeholder reports were also presented along with an update on the MO-CERTA program which utilizes community volunteers trained to help deal with local emergencies.
